My Dear Mother:
I have just finished
an address on the Supreme Court
commemorating its 150th
anniversary of the date set
for its first meeting.
You will see it in the Cong.
Record.
Suitable ceremonies were
conducted in Court this
morning. I am on the Special
Committee from the Senate
for this anniversary-
Now, in addition to my
other duties I must write
an address for the Lincoln
Anniversary at Louisville, Ky.
Hope to cut down this
outside work hereafter.
