The Ahwahnee Yosemite National Park California Nov. 17, 1933. My Dear Mother: We are here for the weekend. These high sierras are too stupendous to realize.  The air is invigorating.  It is a great contrast to So. Cal.  Will go to San Francisco Sunday & begin hearings Monday. Our hotel there is Mark Hopkins. We did the Trip by autos provided by the Governor and escorted by Motorcyle [Motorcycle] police.  It was a  long and fast and crooked ride- 380 miles in one day! This is one of the National  Parks for which we provide money and it is well that we know something about it.  Love Warren.
