Warren R. Austin Vermont United States Senate WASHINGTON, D. C. March 16, 1933 My dear Mother: Thank you for your two fine letters which both of us enjoyed. I am returning Chan's letter and the picture. Is it not amusing? Yes, I did support President Roosevelt's Bank Bill. As a matter of fact, I was not recorded as voting for it because I was in the dentist's chair getting that offending tooth out. We passed the Economy Bill last night at about 9:30 by a large majority. I am exceedingly busy this morning, and will have to cut this short. Love from both of us. Your affectionate Warren Mrs. Chauncey G. Austin, 91 South Main Street, St. Albans, Vermont.
