					<l>Thank you so much for your fine letter of the</l>
					<l>eleventh, and thanks for the clipping enclosed.</l>
					<l>We are very much perplexed by arguments pro and</l>
					<l>con on the liquor question, birth control, appro-</l>
					<l>priations for various activities, economy and re-</l>
					<l>lief.</l>
					<l>We expect Bob here tomorrow afternoon vith</l>
					<l>Professor Ladd, and I hope that we will be able</l>
					<l>to have him included in a White House party Sun-</l>
					<l>day night when moving pictures of the fishing</l>
					<l>trip are to be shown.</l>
					<l>Yes, I am enjoying very much your gift of The</l>
					<l>Saturday Evening Post, which comes regularly.</l>
