					<l>Dear Sir:</l>
				</lg>
			</p>
			<p>
				<lg>
					<l>Senator Howland of Barre has consented to head a</l>
					<l>Legislative <sic correction='Committee'>Coumittee</sic> to call upon Governor Clement in the</l>
					<l>near future to ask him to state the conditions upon which</l>
					<l>he will call a special session to consider ratification of</l>
					<l>the Federal Suffrage Amendment.</l>
				</lg>
			</p>
			<p>
				<lg>
					<l>As far as possible I am calling personally upon</l>
					<l>members of the Legislature who live in accessible towns,</l>
					<l>and am asking others to sign one or the other of enclosed</l>
					<l>petitions and mail at once to me.</l>
				</lg>
			</p>
			<p>
				<lg>
					<l>Over thirty prominent Senators and Representatives</l>
					<l>have signed the petition and will go to the session</l>
					<l>without expense to the State.</l>
				</lg>
			</p>
			<p>
				<lg>
					<l>Trusting to hear from you at your earliest</l>

					<l>Very truly yours</l>

					<l>Mrs. Olzendam</l>
					<l>I am not in favor of calling a</l>
					<l>special session of the Legislature for the above purpose.</l>
					<l>It will cost the State quite a sum of money.</l>
					<l>We gave the Women a right to vote in Town Affairs</l>
					<l>by paying a tax the same as men and they will in all</l>
