<l>lunch with Constans as </l>
<l>guests of NAM's at Hotel </l>

<l>Tonight had waffles and</l>

<l>Glad I decided not to</l>

<l>22</l>
<l>FRIDAY</l>
<l>Very busy day. Nettie not feeling </l>
<l>well has bad cold and a</l>
<l>cough which persists. Also I think</l>
<l>something is troubling her other</l>
<l>than her physical health. Probably </l>
<l>her family.</l>
<l>Late today I recieved a wire</l>
<l>from Donald Wright saying</l>
<l>that Aunt Harriet had died</l>
<l>early this morning. I do not yet</l>
<l>know the details. Mother had</l>
<l>already gone to bed and as I </l>
<l>have to be away part of the</l>
<l>day tomorrow I did not tell</l>
<l>her because I know she would </l>
<l>not sleep tonight and would </l>
<l>grieve and be lonely while</l>
<l>I am away. Sweet Harriet </l>
<l>would have been ninety years old</l>
<l>her next birthday. She has been</l>

<l>Nettie cleaned up her room</l>
<l>and left bag and baggage in </l>
<l>the late P.M. I drove up to see if </l>

<l>well either so cannot do so. I</l>
<l>will try Elizabeth Harper tomorrow</l>
