          • Description: Information written on the back of the photograph states this is a 1959 formal class portrait of the first graduating class of Rice Memorial High School. This class earlier graduated from Christ the King School. The girls are in formal dress each with a corsage on their left shoulder. The boys are all in jackets and ties. Present are Msgr. Charles A. Towne, Father John L. Gagnon, Father Wendell Searles. Among the students is Christopher Terrien II (later Dr.) and Marcelle Pomerleau (later wife of Senator Patrick Leahy). Photo #2.
