- Description: Photograph dated Nov. 1, 1941. Looking westerly, the bridge crossing the Winooski River can be seen. Original caption reads: Mill Street, Burlington, Vermont showing completed job. American Bitumuls Stabilizer being used for 4 1/2" stabilized base on which a 2" penetration armour coat has been constructed. The sidewalk at the right was constructed with soft coal cinders and stabilized with Bitumuls Stabalizer.
